American Dental Association Foundation Dental Student Scholarship Program Awardee receives $2,500 Dental student taking a minimum of 12 credit hours, demonstrating financial need, and having an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 based on a 4.0 scale. Apply Here
Students must contact the associate dean for student affairs/program director or financial aid officer at the school to request a scholarship application form as the forms are disbursed by school officials.

American Osteopathic Foundation Presidential Memorial Leadership Award Awardee receives $5,000 Recognizes a student who has made great strides toward becoming one of the top leaders within the osteopathic profession.

The recipient will be an osteopathic medical student who will be in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th-year of studies in the fall of 2010 and is a current SOMA member.

Alliance for Rural Community Health (ARCH) Empowerment  through Education Awardee receives from $1,000 to $4,000 per semester. Open only to residents of Mendocino County or individuals currently working in an ARCH health center. Priority is given to current ARCH health center employees to advance their careers in the health professions.  Scholarships are also available to Mendocino county residents interested in pursuing health careers in ARCH member health centers. Allied Healthcare Scholarship (AHS) Awardee receives up to $4,500.

Commits to a practicing direct patient care in a medically underserved area (MUA) of California for one year or 100-150 hours of volunteer service.
Students enrolled or accepted into the fields of diagnostic medical sonography, medical imaging, medical laboratory technology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory care, social work, pharmacy, pharmacy technician, surgical technician, ultrasound technician, and diagnostic medical sonography. The Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions Allied Health Students Scholarship of Excellence Awardee receives $1,000 Objective is to recognize outstanding students in the allied health professions who are achieving excellence in their academic programs and have significant potential to assume future leadership roles in the allied health professions.  Candidates must be enrolled in a college or school that is an institutional member of the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions.  Candidates must be enrolled in a career entry-level, degree-granting program; all degree levels are eligible (associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctoral). National Black Nurses Association Scholarship Program Awardee receives from $500 to $2,000 Candidate must be currently enrolled in a nursing program (B.S.N., A.D., Diploma or L.P.N. / L.V.N.) and in good scholastic standing.  Must be a member of NBNA and a member of a local chapter (if one exists in your area), and have at least one full year of school remaining. National Health Service Corps Scholars Program Payment for tuition, fees, other reasonable educational costs, and a monthly support stipend.

Commits to providing full-time clinical primary health care services in high need, high-priority HPSAs for one year of obligated service for each full or partial school year of support.  The minimum service commitment is two years; the maximum is four years.

Commits to work for at least 2 years after graduation at a health facility with a critical shortage of nurses.
Students enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited school of nursing in a professional registered nurse program (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma). Preference is given to qualified applicants with the greatest financial need who are enrolled full‐time in an undergraduate RN program.
